We are Steven and Elana, the heart behind this growing Shih Tzu family.

For years, we dreamed of having a Shih Tzu of our own. When we finally brought our first one home, it was love at first sight and we quickly learned that you really can’t have just one! These little dogs bring so much joy, healing, and unconditional love into a home. Their loyal and affectionate nature completely stole our hearts.

Inspired by their incredible companionship, we started Lala’s All Star Shih Tzu in 2016 to share that joy with others by raising healthy, happy, and well-loved AKC-registered puppies. We’re a small in-home program based in Yelm, Washington, and every puppy is raised right alongside us with hands-on care, early socialization, and plenty of snuggles.

The name “Lala” is a cherished nickname for Elana, and “All Star” reflects the bright, shining presence these pups bring into our lives—they truly are little stars.
